For this reason, in 2012 our centre started offering special counselling and support services for male survivors of violence. The counselling sessions take place in special rooms that are on a different level of the building than the women\u2019s centre.<\/p>\n<p>Our services are aimed at men aged 16+ who have survived sexual or domestic abuse as children or adults. Individuals and professionals who require information and counselling are also very welcome to get in touch.<\/p>\n<p>You can either receive counselling on the phone or in a personal session, and you can choose whether you want to speak with a female or a male worker.
